Cadaques, a classic Catalan fishing village, perched between the rocky hills, and the Mediterranean, former home of Dali, and haunt of Picasso. The geometric shapes of the rooftops as seen from high up in the town, may have been influential in the development of early Cubism. I have done several paintings of this church from different aspects. This view, from the waterfront, has been a favorite motif for many generations of artists.
