I love to paint the old boats in the early morning mist at Moss Landing. At this time of the morning, here and there, the fishermen begin their daily tasks. You can hear the water gently slosh as the otters, or seals sneak up to the embankment where I sit painting. They quietly poke their heads above the surface and peer at me with cautious curiosity.
